Talent Show He came up with his own choreography and music choice and practiced every single day and the moment arrived. Nat: “Mom I can’t do it!” Me: ”Yes you can!” Nat:”I’m scared to dance in front of everyone!” Me: “It’s ok to feel scared but you can do anything you put you mind too.” Nat:”But they will laugh at me.” Me: “ No they won’t, they will absolutely love your dance.” Nat: (smiled)”Ok mom I got this!” Me: (Thumbs up) “Yes you do!” He did his thing and rocked the show! Words have power and with my soft whisper, facial expressions and gesture; I reassured him that he got this! I had confidence in him and he knew that I fully supported his new fond dance skill; He pushed through the fear. Because fear is False, Evidence, Appearing, Real…Life skills that will help navigate him on his journey.
