Parenting with Voice Disability

Parenting with a voice disability is by far the most challenging. But when I find a sticky note waiting on my desk from my eight year old son, it emphasizes that Love is more than words.

Love is defined by actions. It’s Energy in Motion; Emotion. Energy in motion that can be felt in waves. The heart feels and the body receives. It encourages me that though my inability to verbally express these words my love can be felt and wrap their hearts.
